Farm and barn cleanouts in Marion County, FL

Marion County has more horses than any county in the United States and something over three thousand farms, and every one of them accumulates the same way a garage does — only with more room to do it in.

What we take

  • Tack room and feed room clearouts
  • Old board fence and rails, once they are down
  • Broken gates, water troughs and feeders
  • Barn and shed contents
  • Stall mats and worn bedding materials
  • Household junk from a farmhouse or a groom's apartment
  • Scrap timber and pallets

The pile is rarely the problem — the ground is

A farm has room to park, which is the easy part. What decides the job is whether the trailer can reach where the load actually is, and whether the ground will hold it. A pasture that carried a truck in May will not necessarily carry one the day after a summer storm, and a trailer stuck at the far end of a paddock helps nobody. If we can load from a drive or a hard standing, say so; if everything is out in a field, tell us that too and we will plan for it rather than discover it.

Board fence is more volume than it looks

A run of old board fence looks flat and stacks badly. Once it is pulled and the posts are out, a few hundred feet of it fills a trailer faster than most people expect, and the posts are the part that eats the space. It is worth counting the run in feet when you ask for a price rather than describing it as “some old fencing”, because those two produce very different numbers.

What we cannot take off a farm

More than on a household job, and it is better said now. No agricultural or veterinary chemicals, no fuel, no oil, no pesticides — those go to the Household Hazardous Waste area at Baseline. No tyres in quantity. And Marion County Solid Waste itself will not accept concrete, dirt, rocks, sod, power poles, boats or mobile homes, so if you are clearing an old pole barn or a collapsed slab, that material needs a private disposal route and a different conversation about cost.

Manure, bedding and anything organic

Soiled bedding and manure are not junk removal. They have their own handling, their own disposal, and in quantity they are an agricultural waste question rather than a trailer question. Clean, unused bedding and empty feed bags are fine; the muck heap is not, and we would rather tell you that before we drive out than after.

Working around a working farm

Horses and reversing trailers are a poor combination, and it is your property and your routine that set the terms. Tell us when the barn is quiet, which gate to use, and whether anything needs to stay shut behind us. We would rather work to your morning than interrupt it.

Straightforward pricing

Simple, volume-based pricing

Junk is priced by volume, not by item. These are starting points — send photos and we will give you the real number before anything is booked.

Small Pickup

$75+

Starting price

A few items — a couch, a mattress, a small pile from the garage.

1/4 Trailer

$175+

Starting price

A corner of the garage, or one room's worth of unwanted furniture.

1/2 Trailer

$250+

Starting price

A full garage bay, a shed, or a decent move-out load.

3/4 Trailer

$350+

Starting price

Most of a two-car garage, or a larger cleanout.

Full Trailer

$450+

Starting price

A whole-property cleanout or a big accumulation.

These are starting prices, not quotes. Final pricing depends on the amount and type of material, loading conditions, location, disposal requirements and other job-specific factors. Send photos and we will give you a straight number before we book anything.

Questions

Farm & Barn Cleanouts — straight answers

Do you come out to the farms west of town?
Yes, on Saturdays and Sundays. Anything a real distance from Ocala carries a travel element, and it is inside the number we send you rather than added afterwards.
Can you pull the fence as well as haul it?
Taking down old board fence falls under small demolition, and it can be the same visit as the haul-away. Tell us the length of the run and whether the posts are set in concrete, because that changes the job considerably.
Will you take old tyres?
A few, with a per-tyre disposal fee. A pile of them is a different arrangement and usually a different provider — we will say so rather than take the booking and turn up unable to load them.
How is a farm job priced?
By trailer volume, the same as everything else, plus travel where there is a real distance involved. The thing that most often moves the number is carry distance, so photographs of where the load sits and where a trailer can get to are worth more than a description.
